Blogger Secret Ingredient Fun

Last week I posted a recipe using cashews for the Blogger Secret Ingredient challenge. Aubree Cherie has announced the winner. Sadly, it was not me. But, don’t those cashew cookies look oh so very good? And, following along introduced me to a blog I’d yet to stumble on – the winner’s blog, One Frugal Foodie.  Yay! I’m always excited to find new blogs to follow.

Next week’s secret ingredient is honey, and the challenge is being hosted by Jenn of Jenn Cuisine. I’m going to have to do a bit of pondering on this one….. But, I’m sure I can come up with something to submit. How about you?

  1. It was really hard to make a decision! Everything was really really good. So what I decided to do was go with the order that I wanted to try things. And I have a sweet tooth, so I guess that was a heavy influence 🙂

Thanks for participating though. I’m also really excited because I’m new to your blog, and I’ve enjoyed the recipes that I’ve looked at so far. I’ll definitely be back for more 🙂

I can’t even imagine how hard it is to make a decision for these challenges! Don’t think I took any offense at not winning – absolutely not. I want to try her cookies, too. They look fabulous. I really haven’t baked much with cashews at all. Thanks for hosting the challenge – I love that there are so many ways to get “hooked in” with this foodie blog community. It’s really been loads of fun.

I am excited about the honey one, but it is always hard thinking of what to make for these.

I do love your cashew pasta dish and was excited to find your blog too!

  4. Yes, those cookies do look good! Good luck with the next challange 🙂
